I find that the biggest mistake people make in MLM recruiting is that they try to go too fast. They think quantity is how to succeed at network marketing – but quality is above all the deciding factor.

If someone comes into your MLM business focusing on the product, they’ll keep ordering the product even if they don’t make money. They’ll do it because it saves them money or helps them, depending on what your company does.


If they come in expecting big money and buying their dream stuff, they’ll drop out of your MLM organization when they don’t make money – because most of them will not. Which leads me to…


Stay Out of the NFL Club

NFL here stands for the ‘no friends left’ club. This is for those people who try MLM recruiting their friends and badger them to the point that they don’t have friends anymore.


This is because of desperation for network marketing success, but hounding is not how to succeed at network marketing. Their friends avoid them because they think they only want to get them to join their MLM organization.


Do NOT hound people, even friends you’ve talked to before. Instead, let them lead the interaction.


Ask if they’re open to it, then introduce them to one of your team members. If they want to try it out, great. Don’t pester them if they don’t.


Focus instead on building up relationships with your friends. Stay interested in them whether or not they join up.


This will keep you out of the NFL club and help you achieve network marketing success as well.


My Tracking System To Follow Up Appropriately

While reading this blog post on how to succeed at network marketing, you’re probably wondering, “How can I track my prospects, to ensure effective follow up in network marketing? How can I avoid the mistakes others make?”


Therefore, to help you in your network marketing success endeavors, I’m going to tell you how I do it.


 You see, I’m a pretty simple guy. This is how I do it:

  • I talk to an MLM prospect, tell them my story, and get them interested in joining my MLM organization.
  • Then I book an appointment with them and mark it on Google Calendar with their phone number and details in the description box.
  • When I talk to them, I move them up to the next date if I mean to follow-up – a week, two weeks, a month, a year – until I want to follow-up.
  • If I don’t want to follow-up because they’re not a quality prospect, I simply delete them.
  • Since Google Calendar is on my phone and keeps me aware, I never lose track of prospects while MLM recruiting.



If you want to achieve network marketing success and grow your MLM organization, just use the follow-up system I recommend. There are lots of paid CRMs online, but they’re tedious and superfluous.


You can try them, but in the end Google Calendar works just fine for me. Getting the fanciest CRM doesn’t teach you how to succeed at network marketing.


MLM Closing for My Ariix Reps

This section teaches you how to close a deal in network marketing if you’re in Ariix or on my Be-Different team. If you’ve introduced your prospect to one of our team members, it’s your responsibility to keep in touch with them until they join up.


I recommend talking to them weekly or bi-weekly. Above all, do your best to build credibility – and so your chances at network marketing success – by introducing them to someone who can share their story about how incredible our products are.


Getting someone to verify is also part of how to succeed at network marketing.


Do not send them information from our Ariix website. Above all, they need credibility: talking to actual human beings who’ve had a great experience with Ariix products.


If they want to lose weight, or get rid of wrinkles, I have a list of people who can help you close the deal by getting on the phone with your prospects.

“Hey John, are you interested in a side project to what you’re doing right now, if it didn’t interfere?”

The problem with this path is that for the average person, it lessens your chances for network marketing success. Your marketplace is suspicious. They don’t think of you as someone who’s helping others make money.


If you go to them and discuss something like these Ariix products I’ve talked about already, network marketing success is more likely. This is because it’s easier to get them interested in what you’re doing if you talk about products like these Ariix products.


They’ll want to learn more, and that makes network marketing success more likely for you. This is also one of my network marketing tips for beginners: get people interested in what you do.


For the first 2-3 weeks, we have to focus on creating a story for our product – same as our Ariix products – so we can have long-term network marketing success. This will convince people that the product really works, because all business have a benefit the consumer gets.


Our goal as an MLM organization is not just to make money and get only our own network marketing success, because telling prospects, “buy this product and you’ll get success,” makes them think ‘scam.’ That’s not conducive to network marketing success.

They keep a strong follow-up routine with the people they intend to stay with.

So whenever you connect with people on LinkedIn, initiate a routine for following up on leads for MLM. Let me tell you how I follow up with my connections.


I simply offer them to schedule a phone call so we both could help each other regarding our concerns, or I send them referrals.


The way I follow up

It’s an obvious thing that I don’t get everyone on phone call and send them referrals randomly. It’s pretty easy for me to send referrals or leads for MLM on LinkedIn, but I still choose selective people.


My good treatment convinces them to jump on a phone call with me. I prefer treating people nicely so they feel great after talking to me.


This is how the chances of getting them over the phone call get higher.


Every 4 months, I communicate to my network and ask them for a phone call and this is how I do it:

“Hey (first name) it’s been a while since we connected. I would love to speak to you again. Would you open to be a phone call to see how we can help each other in 2019?

God Bless

That’s how I get them on phone calls a number of times in a year. It becomes possibly only because I treated them nicely in the beginning rather considering them money-making instruments.

To understand how to achieve network marketing success, the most important thing we need to understand is what to say on the phone and how to say it. To illustrate this, I have made a three steps process:

Rather than talking a lot, I simply put questions before them to take the conversation in the desired direction. For making a friend, people usually don’t know what to talk about.


Let me tell you that you just need to be spontaneous and go with the flow. You don’t need a strong script for making a friend. Just open up to them and let them like you.


2- Diving inner their career

For diving inner into their career, you need to ask them questions about the stuff they are doing and why exactly they are doing it.


3- Telling them my story about my company

I usually take 10 minutes for the above two steps and then I jump to tell them my story for 2-3 minutes. Here is an example of my story:

“I and my wife love to travel the world. We went to Dubai and the Philippines.


We love to travel and for a long time, we were looking for a way where we get to travel and combine that with keeping ourselves healthy with the right nutrition. Because I believe that nutrition is extremely powerful.

It’s the sword of everything we do. Anyway, along came this company which not only had the best nutritional products but whenever we spent money on these nutritional products, we also got to take that same dollar amounts inside the travel wholesale club allowing us to save up to 20% on travel all around the world.


Now I don’t know if you like to travel but, are you open to take a look on what we are doing?”


This is how I engage them by giving them a short view of what I am doing and if they seem to be really interested in creating their own network marketing success, I go for a series of meetings with them. If I find them interested then I ask them about how soon they can watch the video or any information I send them.


Right there, I book another call with them and mark that with the name of the person on my Google calendar so I don’t miss it.
